Commercial Real Estate
RIPCO Real Estate
Production Designer, 2019–2020
RIPCO is one of the largest independent commercial real estate brokerages in the New York metro. As the sole production designer, I owned visual output across the firm: broker presentations, property marketing, signage, and the WordPress sites and eBlast campaigns that carried listings to market.
The volume was the education. Maintaining brand consistency across 100+ properties, each with its own audience and asset quality, meant building repeatable systems long before I had the vocabulary for it. The most interesting work was translating messy transaction data into interactive maps and market visualizations that brokers could actually put in front of clients.
Consumer Retail and Home Furnishings
West Elm, Williams Sonoma
Digital Designer, 2021
At West Elm I led digital design execution for D2C and B2B email programs spanning West Elm, Williams Sonoma, and Pottery Barn, reaching millions of subscribers weekly. I owned campaigns end to end, from concept through production, across main-line, Outlet, and cross-brand initiatives.
Retail email is a design system stress test that runs daily. Every send had to balance brand storytelling against conversion, which is where I learned to treat templates as products: I rebuilt our reusable modules to cut time-to-market for campaign assets, a habit that became the foundation for everything Marly does now.
