Background

I started out in graphic and marketing design — brand work at West Elm, property materials at RIPCO Real Estate, and a full 0→1 product build at Wing Tel Alpha, a telecom startup. That last one is where I first built a component system and realized I was more interested in how things worked than how they looked.

The past few years have been product-focused. At Workhuman I led the redesign of their careers platform — a broken funnel that was losing 97% of visitors — and contributed to the design system that unified their US and Ireland teams. At Aegis Group I was the sole designer on a 4-person startup, building the product from scratch and navigating a full market pivot.

What I'm looking for

A product design role where systems thinking matters — somewhere building real product, not just moving pixels. I'm most useful on teams where design has a seat at the table early, and where there's enough complexity to actually sink into.

Open to full-time roles in NYC or remote. Happy to talk through what you're working on before anything formal.

How I work

• I tend to start with the problem before opening Figma
• I care about the handoff as much as the design
• I've worked cross-functionally enough to know that the best design decisions usually happen in a conversation, not a review
• I document as I go — not as an afterthought
